It is a written commitment, signed before your project starts, that the finished structure will match the permitted set. If it doesn’t, the crew comes back. You don’t have to argue the point, escalate to a manager, or prove you deserve the fix. You tell us what’s wrong. We handle it.

Since 2015, every one of the 900+ ADUs designed, permitted, and built under The Haven Standard has carried this promise. The number that matters is not how long we have been in business. It is how many projects left a documented photo record behind them – evidence of what was found, what was built, and what you signed off on.

How We Make It Right

You Tell Us

Call (971) 497-2402 and describe what you’re seeing. No online portal, no ticket system, no waiting for an email thread to resolve. A live person takes the information and opens the file. If you have the project documentation we left you – and every Ellery project leaves one – have it handy, but it is not a requirement.

We Come Back Out

We schedule a return visit and send the same kind of crew that did the original work – background-checked, uniformed, and carrying the permitted drawings. They walk the discrepancy, not your description of it. There is no charge for this visit and no assessment fee.

We Fix It

If the work does not match the permitted set, we bring it into compliance. The fix is scoped in writing before anyone picks up a tool – Haven Standard, Clause 1 applies to corrective work the same as it applies to new work. No verbal agreements, no “we’ll sort it out as we go.”

You Sign Off

When the correction is complete, you receive an updated photo record documenting what was done. You confirm the work matches the drawings. That sign-off closes the item. If it doesn’t close cleanly, we do not consider it closed – that is what the 365-Day Done Right Promise means in practice.

What Stands Behind the Promise

The promise is only as good as the people and systems behind it, so here is what is actually present on every Ellery project.

Every crew member is background-checked and uniformed. Their license number appears on every page of this site – verified, not just claimed. Every project is quoted with a written price before work starts, per Haven Standard, Clause 1. There are no hourly rates, no subscriptions, no membership tiers, nothing to sign up for. Every job is priced job-by-job off a free written estimate, and that number does not change once work begins.

The design, the permit set, and the build travel under one contract – which means neither the designer nor the builder can point at the other when something is off.
